Norwood Little League 2015 Playoffs

The semi finals have the Pirates vs Dodgers and Orioles vs Phillies. Orioles went 16-1 with coach Dan Denehy going for 3 in a row. Coach Dan French went 14-4 with the  Pirates. Vinny Aiello manages the Phillies and Mike Kelley manages the Dodgers.

In the Norwood Little League 2015 Town Championship game the Orioles defeated the Pirates, 11-1.  This made it 3-in-a-row for the Dan Denehy coached team.  The Orioles were led by the pitching of Jason Denehy (4 innings) and James Whelan (2 innings).  Whelan was the offense star with 7 RBI, 4 hits including a home run.  Brian Kiley and Brian Metayer also had strong games.

In the Norwood Youth Softball Grade 2/3/4 Championship game played at beautiful Jean Brown Field, the Pirates were victorious over the Giants, 5-1.  Sam Rose and Maddison Collins provide outstanding pitching while Colleen Denehy, Molly Keats along with Sam and Maddison provided the offense.
